Students of Tatale Senior High School in the Northern Region have accused the school’s storekeeper of attempting to steal foodstuffs from the school’s stores.
The incident according to a Citinewsroom report, occurred after students reportedly set up a trap upon suspecting that food items were frequently going missing.
According to eyewitness accounts and a circulating video, the storekeeper, together with another individual, was allegedly in the process of removing food items from the store when the students confronted them.
“When the students shouted, the storekeeper ran away, leaving the other man behind,” a source familiar with the incident confirmed.
The confrontation was captured on video, showing the storekeeper holding some food items while students raised alarm and shouted at him.
