The Office of the President has officially released its annual staffing report covering the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025, revealing a total of 808 employees at Jubilee House and its auxiliary offices.
The report, prepared in accordance with Section 11 of the Presidential Office Act, 1993 (Act 463), provides a detailed breakdown of political appointees, civil servants, and public sector workers attached to the Presidency.
According to the document, the 808 staff comprise 233 political appointees and 575 civil and public service personnel.
Political Appointees (233)
The political administration of the Presidency is structured into three main categories:
- Ministers of State at the Presidency: 4
These include Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu (Government Communications), Hon. Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum (Special Initiatives), Hon. Seidu Issifu (Climate Change and Sustainability), and Hon. Lydia Lamisa Akanvariba (Public Sector Reform). - Political Staffers: 39
This group includes top-tier officials such as Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, Executive Secretary Dr. Calistus Mahama, and various presidential advisors and aides. - Other Political Appointees: 190
These consist of technical coordinators, legal advisors, regional political coordinators, executive assistants, and political drivers.
