The Okuapehene, Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, Omanhene of the Akuapem Traditional Area, has urged the management of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund to remain steadfast in their duties, serving with dedication and integrity to ensure specialised healthcare reaches every Ghanaian in need.
The paramount chief paid a visit to the Fund on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, accompanied by members of his royal household. The visit focused on the work of the institution and offered personal support to its Administrator, Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, who hails from the Akuapem area.
According to details from the Fund, the Okuapehene expressed a fatherly concern for the Administrator, inquiring about her journey since assuming the role and any challenges she might be facing. He offered his blessings and encouragement to her and the entire team.
