The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has arrested several former and current officials of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Ltd (SML), and the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) in connection with ongoing investigations into suspected corruption and corruption-related offences.
Among those arrested and detained are Rev. The arrests are part of a wide-ranging probe into revenue assurance contracts awarded by the GRA to SML. The OSP is investigating the legal and procurement processes surrounding these contracts, as well as the financial implications and the company’s claims of generating substantial revenue savings for the nation.
In addition to the three detained, several others have been arrested and granted bail. They include: Evans Adusei, CEO of SML, Philip Mensah, former Deputy Commissioner (Legal) at GRA and current Legal Consultant to SML, Kofi Nti, former Commissioner-General of GRA ,Joseph Kuruk and Faustina Adjorkor, both officials of the Public Procurement Authority

This development comes following a raid on the premises of SML on June 10, 2025 carried out under court orders, was supported by personnel from the National Security Secretariat.
