Tano North Member of Parliament, Dr. Gideon Boako, has taken a decisive step to unite the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tano North Constituency following the party’s recently concluded presidential primaries.

In a statement posted on his Facebook page, he said he hosted key stakeholders at his home for a reconciliatory engagement, bringing together coordinators of all five contestants.

“Yesterday, I hosted key stakeholders at my home, including the coordinators for all five contestants of the just-ended presidential elections,” Dr. Boako wrote.

“We came together as members of the New Patriotic Party in the Tano North Constituency for a reconciliatory engagement, and we have resolved to set aside individual preferences from the contest.”

Dr. Boako emphasised that while Dr Mahamudu Bawumia emerged as the party’s flagbearer, the real winner is the NPP as a whole.

“The contest is over, the greater mission now begins. It is time to close ranks, heal every divide, and channel our collective energy toward victory in 2028,” he added.

He also expressed deep appreciation to party elders, patrons, clergy, and campaign coordinators for their guidance and commitment to unity.

“I wish to sincerely express my profound gratitude to the Council of Elders, the Council of Patrons, our revered Men of God, current and former executives, the campaign Coordinators of all five contestants, and everyone who took time to be present. Your wisdom, guidance, prayers, and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of our Party are deeply appreciated,” he said.

Closing his message, Dr. Boako stressed the importance of collective purpose for the party’s success.

“Unity remains our greatest strength. With one purpose, one direction, and a shared commitment, we move forward determined, focused, and ready to bring our Party back to power,” he concluded.
