John Ntim Fordjour is the Member of Parliament for Assin South in the Central Region, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Fordjour is serving a third term, having also served in the 7th Parliament and 8th Parliament. Born on 28 May 1986, Fordjour hails from Assin Kruwa. Fordjour was educated at University OF Ghana (PHD Political Science, 2025; Master of Arts (MA), 2014), Georgetown University, Washington DC (Certificate, 2018) and University of Mines & Technology(UMaT) (Bachelor of Science (BSc), 2007). Fordjour's career includes serving as CEO at Initiatives Group and Human Resources Superintendent at Gold Fields Ghana Ltd. In the 9th Parliament, Fordjour is Ranking Member of the Defence and Interior Committee and is a member of the Human Rights Committee.
