New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team member and former presidential staffer Abraham Kwaku Gyasi will on Saturday, August 8, 2026, lay his late father, Opanin Stephen Kwabena Ntoah, to rest in the Ashanti Region.

The 92-year-old will be honoured with a befitting burial after a burial service at Ejisu Abankuro, with the interment scheduled to take place at Buoho. The family has announced that there will be no wake-keeping.

The funeral rites will continue on Sunday, August 9, with a thanksgiving service at the Church of Christ, Kumasi-Asafo, before a family gathering on Monday, August 10, brings the final funeral activities to a close.

Kwaku Gyasi is a member of the NPP’s communications team and previously served as Public Relations Officer at the Office of the President’s One District One Factory (1D1F) Secretariat during the Akufo-Addo administration.

He also served in the same role with the Monitoring and Evaluation Secretariat and currently serves as Convener of the Law Students’ Network (LSN), an NPP-affiliated organisation of Ghana School of Law students.

The politician has extended an invitation to friends, sympathisers and the general public to join him in celebrating the life of Opanin Stephen Kwabena Ntoah.
