The Ghana Police Service has declared 40-year-old Barbara Asantewaa Kodua, popularly associated with the TikTok account “Ghana Jollof”, wanted over an alleged case of inciting violence.
In a notice issued on Thursday, September 17, 2026, the Police identified Barbara Asantewaa Kodua as a wanted person and appealed to the public to provide information that could assist in locating her.
According to the notice, Kodua was last seen at the Accra International Airport in Accra on August 4, 2022.
The Police further indicated that she is suspected to be hiding in the United Kingdom.
The “Ghana Jollof” TikTok account has previously published content critical of government officials. However, the Police notice did not specify the particular statements or content allegedly linked to the incitement-to-violence allegation.
The Police have urged anyone with information on Kodua’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the service on 0500100010.
