Manchester City forward, Raheem Sterling could be the very first signing in the Todd Boehly era after a $66m move was agreed

between the Premier League winners, Manchester City Football Club and Chelsea Football Club.

The fee was agreed on Monday after several days of speculation. Chelsea have had quite a quiet transfer window with fans taking onto social media to express their frustrations.

Well-renowned football journalist, Fabrizio Romano announced the transfer on Tuesday evening, July 12, 2022 on his twitter handle who further added the move was subject to medicals after the fee was agreed.

Raheem Sterling leaves Manchester City after spending seven years after joining the team from Liverpool FC in a big transfer money move in 2015.

He scored 91 times in 225 Premier League outing and won the Premier League 4 times with the Cityzens.
