President of RNAQ Holdings, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has announced plans to establish a scholarship and educational fund to support brilliant but needy students from the Ga and Ga-Dangme communities as part of his activities marking the 2026 Homowo celebrations.

Mr Armah Quaye made the announcement on Saturday, August 8, when he paid a courtesy visit to the Ga Mantse at the Ga Paramount Stool House.

Through the RNAQ Foundation, he presented GH¢200,000 in cash and drinks to support this year’s Homowo celebrations and contribute to the welfare of the Ga community.

In addition to the cash donation, Mr Armah Quaye provided four trucks of drinks for Ga youth as part of efforts to support the festivities and engage with the community.

However, he said his support for the Ga community would extend beyond the immediate celebrations, announcing plans to collaborate with the Ga Mantse to establish a scholarship and educational fund.

The proposed fund is expected to support brilliant but needy young people from the Ga and Ga-Dangme communities who have the academic potential but lack the financial resources to continue their education.

“We didn’t only bring money but I want to collaborate with Ga Mantse to establish a scholarship fund and educational fund to help Ga and Ga Adangbe brilliant but needy students,” Mr Armah Quaye said.

The initiative is expected to provide sustained educational support to young people within the two communities while complementing the RNAQ Foundation’s broader community interventions.

The visit brought together traditional leaders and representatives of the RNAQ Foundation, with the foundation reaffirming its commitment to supporting communities and creating opportunities for young people.
