One person has died and two others seriously injured following a head-on collision between a Hyundai minivan and a Hyundai truck at the Adansi Akrokerri Junction in the Ashanti Region on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has declared that all academic certificates issued by the University of Ghana (UG) through its six unaccredited learning centres will not be recognised for employment, further studies, or promotion. Ghana Water Limited (GWL) has scheduled a 12-hour shutdown of the Weija Water Treatment Plant on Thursday, December 4, 2025, to enable emergency repairs on a critically damaged transmission pipeline.
