The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) alongside the Ghana Tourism Authority and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority is set to host the 4th edition of Taste of Ghana, themed GH: The Africa Dream,” on December 27th at the forecourt of the State House.

‘Taste of Ghana‘ has become GIPC’s hallmark Christmas event, which puts a spotlight on  Ghana’s unique heritage, encompassing music, cuisine, arts, and culture.

The event serves as an informal platform for Ghanaians, people living in the diaspora who travel to Ghana for Christmas, and other Global visitors to connect, delve into commercial opportunities, and explore investments.

The event this year is set to experience performances by music sensations including Fancy Gadam, Shatta Wale, Eno Barony, R2Bees, Adina, Kofi Jamar, Alapta Wan, and Abbi Ima, who are expected to thrill patrons with great musical performances.

The program encompasses a masquerade parade, dance displays, a fashion runway, art exhibitions, and local vendors offering a diverse array of traditional Ghanaian delicacies and products. It’s an immersive encounter with Ghana’s varied flavors and craftsmanship.

Taste of Ghana transcends mere entertainment as it serves as an avenue to engage with potential local business partners, discover investment prospects, and honor Ghana’s rich heritage.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of GIPC,  Yofi Grant, the event is a showcase of the best facets of Ghana – its music, culture, talented individuals, entrepreneurs, and economic opportunities.

Akwasi Agyemang, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority,  also stressed the event’s role in advancing Ghanaian tourism, drawing both local and international visitors. He emphasized the significance of spotlighting Ghana’s diverse attractions, including its scenic landscapes, historical sites, and vibrant arts scene, to elevate the country’s tourism sector.

Furthermore, Mr. Agyemang noted the event’s alignment with the government’s vision to position Ghana as a premier tourist destination in Africa.

Partners for this event include the Diaspora Affairs Office-Office of the President, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Information, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration, EximBank Ghana, Ghana Tourism Authority, Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Beyond the Return, and the Ghana Free Zones Authority.
