“There is no discipline in show business” – Michy claims

TV Presenter and ex-fiancee of Danche Hall artist Shatta Wale, Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, popularly known as Michy, has made the assertion that there is little or no discipline in show business, hence she wouldn’t allow her son, Majesty, to venture into it.

In an interview with Obidombie Adu Kumi, host of Asempa Showbiz Review on Asempa FM 94.7, where she purposely promoted her new song ‘Hustle’,  Michy preferred her son to venture into football rather than music, despite the fact that both parents are into the entertainment industry.

She highlighted how lucrative and disciplined football is, hence the motivation to make her son venture into it rather than show business, which she claimed had little or no discipline.

She noted that Majesty is someone who likes stardom and showbiz and can play the piano and other instruments, and they are trying their best to perfect his piano skills because her son has much interest in showbiz.

.“I want my son to play football; 300,000 dollars a week is not a lot of money. I see a lot of showbiz in my son; he is a starboy and a showboy, especially when he sees people, and it is crazy”.

“He plays the piano, and we are still perfecting his piano skills. He has a big interest in musical instruments. He wants to know how to play beats and all that. I do see a future in that, but, you know, the money is very necessary, and the discipline in football.” She remarked.

Sh reiterated that the entertainment industry lacks discipline, and even self-discipline is hard as some people associate with players and milk information for their personal purposes.

“It’s hard, it’s very hard in this industry because some people would like to feel like they belong, so they, by intention, join a team, and they will start picking up information from there” she said.

She mentioned that she would like to direct her son’s future into the sport of football, which comes with fame and discipline, but God has the ultimate plan. “I am not God, though, but let’s see what God wants him to be.” She noted.

Michy was born in Norway on May 6, 1994. She is a brand influencer, an entrepreneur,an actress and currently the Host of Movement Showbiz on Movement TV
