Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP ), Engineer Kwabena Agyapong has called on President Akufo Addo to as a matter of urgency fire the managers of the economy.
His comments tally with scores of Ghanaians calling for the heads of the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, and other top economy managers.
In the early days of this week, the Ghanaian Cedi was pronounced the worst-performing currency in the world by Bloomberg after its rate to the US dollar surpassed Gh. 12 cedis.

Ing. Kwabena Agyapong has declared his intentions to join the NPP Presidential race ahead of the 2024 General Elections. He joins Kennedy Agyapong, Allan Kyeramanteng, and Dr. Bawumia who have already made their intentions to lead the NPP.
