Host of Ladies Time on Asempa FM, Mrs. Mavis Amanor Avornyo popularly known as Fire Lady has been honored with three Awards at the just-ended Ghana Media Arts and Entrepreneurship Awards.
The event took place on Friday 23 December at the LA Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
Fire Lady was awarded the Radio/TV show of the year, Sports personality of the year, and Discovery Woman of the year.
The dynamic and versatile sports anchor was awarded for her contribution towards humanity and her enormous impact in Ghana and beyond.
The host of Ladies Time during her acceptance speech expressed gratitude for the recognition of her hard work and influence in the media and sports and entertainment industry in Ghana.
She dedicated her first honorary which is the sports personality award to the CEO of multimedia group Limited Mr. Kwasi Twum, her colleagues sports team led by Prof EK Wallace, her fans, and her husband Mr. Avornyo.
The Tv and radio show award was also dedicated to her team Firelady/visdel and fans and the final award which is the Discovery Woman of the Year also dedicated to her late dad, her mum Janet Asamoah, and her family, and fans.
Mrs. Amanor is the Executive Producer of the Ultimate Sports Show on Asempa FM from Monday to Friday.
The GMAEA is a registered awards ceremony established to honor and celebrate young enterprising individuals and corporate bodies.
