The Forex trader, Bright Kojo Onipayede has sued a known social media critique Albert Nathaniel Hyde, popularly known as Bongo Ideas after the latter attacked Kojo Forex on social media with defamatory statements. A 40 year old tile setter today has been remanded by an Accra Circuit Court for literally insulting Nana Akufo Addo. The Police on May 15 saw a video posted on social media and apprehended the individual in the content, Raphael Okoe Ankrah, also known as Okoe Killer whom the Police accused of insulting the President. The supreme court in a verdict on May 17 has ordered Parliament to expunge Gyakye Quayson’s name from its records. Supreme Court Judge, Justice John Dotse presiding over the case gave the verdict that the Electoral Commission acted unconstitutionally in permitting Gyakye Quayson to contest the 2020 Parliamentary elections without providing proof of him renouncing his Canadian citizenship.
