The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, has disclosed that Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) received only GH¢362 million from the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) throughout 2024. The Minority in Parliament has criticised a High Court ruling that directs the Attorney-General to take over all criminal prosecutions being handled by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), describing the decision as legally flawed and erroneous.
