Head of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly’s waste management department, Ing. Solomon Noi has urged the government to invest in sanitation infrastructure to help achieve proper waste management. Thomas Partey, Ghana and Arsenal midfielder, has changed his name following his marriage to Moroccan girlfriend, Sara Bella. “I am already married and my Muslim name is Yakubu,” said the footballer in a video shared by Nana Aba Anamoah. Ghana has recorded its first five(5) cases of the Monkeypox disease. The Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye made this known at the Minister’s Press Briefing organized by the Ministry of Information in Accra today, June 8, 2022. Dr. Kuma-Aboagye said out of a total of twelve(12) suspected cases investigated by the Ghana Health Service since May 24, 2022, five(5) were confirmed to be Monkeypox diseases. The National Association of Graduate Teachers(NAGRAT) has threatened to embark on an industrial action by the end of July this year should government refuse to pay the 20% Cost of Living Allowance(COLA) to its members at the end of June 2022.
